Those who pre-ordered one of Samsung’s new Galaxy S21 flagship series have already begun receiving their new handsets, but if you’ve been waiting for a certain someone to tear down the Galaxy S21 Ultra before putting your cash on the table, you are in luck. JerryRigEverything has pulled out the stops to teardown the Galaxy S21 Ultra, and we’ve embedded the video for you after the break.

Other than a titanic struggle to remove the battery, the biggest discovery while disassembling the Galaxy S21 Ultra was how big the in-display fingerprint sensor had grown, showing a 77% increase in size over its predecessor. When Zack Nelson re-assembled the handset, a small snag occurred in that the front-facing camera stopped working, so it’s advised that you don’t take your brand new phone apart just to see what’s inside.

We’ve taken delivery of the base S21 model and the S21 Ultra earlier today, so keep it locked to TalkAndroid for the guides, walkthroughs, and reviews in the coming days and weeks.
