Samsung’s 2022 Galaxy Unpacked event airs February 9th at 10AM EST. The company says it’s launching “the most noteworthy S series ever created,” likely the Galaxy S22 lineup. But you don’t need to watch this event to snag Samsung’s latest phone—the company is offering free pre-order reservations on its webstore!

These pre-order reservations cost no money, but they ensure that you’ll be first in line for a Galaxy S22. Samsung will let you choose which model to pre-order after the Unpacked event, and it’ll give you $50 in store credit pre-ordering the device.

While we don’t know everything about the Galaxy S22 lineup, leaks and rumors paint a compelling picture of the new flagships. We’re most excited for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, as it’s basically a successor to the Galaxy Note series—it packs a large 6.81-inch display, a dedicated S-Pen slot, and an improved 108MP camera that provides more detail than the S21 Ultra’s main lens.

All handsets in the Galaxy S22 lineup run on flagship processors. Some regions get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, while others get the Exynos 2200, which is the first mobile SoC with an AMD GPU. Unfortunately, leaks suggest that the Exynos 2200 may suffer from thermal problems, so we aren’t sure which regions will get the chip.

We expect Samsung to announce its Galaxy S22 lineup and Galaxy Tab S8 during the 2022 Unpacked event. The company could also launch new wireless earbuds or other accessories.
