Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag+ with UWB is up for pre-order, shipping from April 12

When Samsung first announced the Galaxy S21 back in January, it also unveiled its Tile competitor called SmartTag that used Bluetooth to track the location of items such as your luggage or keys. Now we have a more capable version up for pre-order, imaginatively called SmartTag+ that boasts UWB connectivity and a price tag of $39.99.

While the SmartTag+ will still locate the missing object using Bluetooth, the UWB connectivity will provide a more accurate location as you close in, and you can even connect it to the SmartThings app on your phone to find your item using AR mode, which sounds pretty helpful.

    • Up to 5 months of battery life
    • Replaceable watch battery
    • Sound and volume are adjustable
    • IP53 dust and water resistance
    • Mute, normal, and loud volume settings
    • Downloadable ringtone with 8 presets

B&H Photo has the SmartTag+ listed for pre-order at $40 in Black and Denim Blue colorways, with an April 12th shipping date. Are you buying one?
