Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition Now On Sale For $269

Samsung has just released a “Kids Edition” of their Galaxy Tab A9+. It’s basically the same tablet as before, but with a new protective case they call the “Puffy Cover” to make it more kid-friendly. The case is shockproof and comes in different colors. This special edition costs $269, which is $50 more than the regular version.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ for Kids is the same as original model

On January 12, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Tab A9+ in the US. Pricing starts at $219, although you can get it at a slashed price on Amazon if you hurry. The budget-friendly Android tablet features an 11-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 695 processor, and options for 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The battery capacity is 7,040 mAh battery, and it features optional LTE.

Also, the tablet comes in two main size variations as follows:

  • Wi-Fi model: It has 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage for $219. You can also get 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for $269.
  • Cellular models (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular): 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage for $269.

Each size variation offers different storage and RAM options. But the base hardware features are the same, even on the newest version they recently released for kids. The major difference is the Puffy Cover that supposedly makes it more durable. Samsung has added a built-in kickstand for hands-free use, and the cover comes in yellow, red, or blue.

Galaxy Tab A9+ includes styluses & vibrant case options

The Tab A9+ includes three crayon-like styluses, which makes them appealing for artistic or educational use. They’re attached to the case, so there’s no chance of your kid losing them (unless they misplace the entire tablet). There’s even a Samsung Kids app pre-installed to help you control screen time and app usage when they get obsessed.

The Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition is designed to provide a space for children to use technology safely, while also providing them the room to learn, grow, create, stream, and explore. Parents can even create profiles for their children and personalize their settings – for a user experience that is loved by kids and trusted by parents.

Let’s face it. Kids are mostly destructive, which is one serious thing to think about before buying your little one a mobile device. Samsung also knows this fact, and has made their latest gadget perfect for “small hands and active kids”. Although they don’t say what material exactly they’ve used to manufacture the tablet, the brand says that it’s ergonomic.

Your child can hold it for longer periods without straining their hands, whether they’re reading, playing games, or drawing. If they were to drop the tablet, the shockproof Puffy Cover absorbs the impact, reducing the risk of damage and a costly trip to a repair store.
