Save 20% on TerraMaster NAS for Prime Day

TerraMaster is a budget-friendly NAS provider that makes the more affordable enclosures. These servers are often found on sale for promotions like Prime Day and this year is no different. Just because they’re often more affordable than the competition, it doesn’t mean TerraMaster NAS enclosures are necessarily bad, but the OS experience isn’t as smooth.

If you’re looking for a NAS that does everything you need and you don’t plan on visiting the web OS interface often, these TerraMaster NAS servers may be the enclosures for you.

One of TerraMaster’s more affordable modern models is the F2-221, which comes with an Intel CPU, 2GB of RAM (out-the-box), and two drive bays. This is a great place to start with your first NAS.

This powerful two-bay TerraMaster F2-221 comes equipped with a dual-core Intel Apollo J3355 processor with a clock speed of 2.0GHz. There’s 2GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 4GB. Altogether, you have a NAS that can handle speeds of up to 200MB/s read and 190MB/s write. This NAS is ideal for a starter enclosure or for backups and is the best NAS for home in terms of value.

    TerraMaster F5-221

Think of the F5-221 as the same NAS as the F2-221, but with an additional three drive bays. Should you be on the hunt for a NAS with ample storage space for all your data at a reasonable price, this is about as good as you can get.

If two bays aren’t enough, take a look at the TerraMaster F5-221, which also comes with the same dual-core Intel Apollo J3355 processor with a clock speed of 2.0GHz. It too has 2GB of RAM as standard and can be expanded up to a total of 4GB for more intense applications. The same 200MB/s read and 190MB/s write speeds are present, but you can install up to five drives for a max capacity of 60TB.

    TerraMaster F2-210

This is the most affordable NAS on offer by TerraMaster for Prime Day. It has an ARM processor, two drive bays, 2GB of RAM, and an OS that will let you easily set up close storage or automated backups.

The TerraMaster F2-210 may have the same number of bays as the F2-221, but that’s where the similarities end (aside from the design). This NAS is designed to be an affordable entry point for homeowners looking to buy and set up their first server. It has an ARMv8 quad-core 1.4GHz CPU with just 1GB RAM that cannot be upgraded. It’s perfect for storing files or backing up a few PCs.

The F4-210 may be an affordable NAS enclosure, but it has a lot going for it. The impressive number of drive bays allows you to store up to 64TB of data with easy access for multiple user accounts.

Lastly, we have the TerraMaster F4-210. Just like the F2-221 and F5-221, this NAS is identical to the F2-210 above, but has a further two drive bays, bringing the total available up to four. Should you be needing somewhere to store files in a busy household or office, the capacity of up to 64TB makes the F4-210 a great means of shared network storage.

We’re keeping tabs on all the best Prime Day NAS deals, so whether you need an enclosure for Plex, work, or for storing some documents, there’s a discounted NAS for almost everyone.
