HyperX has been killing it with the Black Friday sales. We’ve even shared some deals through the Microsoft store featuring HyperX accessories. Here’s a new one for you on a relatively new device. The HyperX Alloy Origins 60 mechanical gaming keyboard is on sale for $79.99 at Amazon. This is the first time since it was released earlier this year that we’ve seen it go on sale. The keyboard normally sells for around $100 and hasn’t fluctuated from that price much at all.

The 60 in the name implies this is a 60% keyboard, making it super compact with only the essential keys you need. That can be important for gamers because it makes the keyboard more portable and means you can keep your keyboard and mouse closer to you for faster reactions during high-octane gameplay. The keyboard has a full aircraft-grade aluminum body so it’s very durable and stable even as you’re slamming down on the keys. Plus, the keycaps themselves are highly resistant to the wear and tear of fast action typing, and they have secondary functions printed on the sides so you don’t have to remember anything.
You’ll also have RGB lighting with this keyboard. The exposed LEDs give you a luminous effect with the lighting, and you can use HyperX’s Ngenuity software to customize the lights by key. The software also lets you build macros and set up effects and more.
