September’s line-up of new Apple Arcade games has been announced.
Next month’s additions to the subscription service will be Shovel Knight Dig, Horizon Chase 2, GRIS+, Garden Tails: Match and Grow, Farmside, and a quiz game from actor Tom Hanks called Hanx 101 Trivia.
Releasing on September 23 for Apple Arcade, Switch and Steam (with the console and PC versions priced at $24.99), Shovel Knight Dig is co-developed by Yacht Club Games and Nitrome.

It sees Shovel Knight tunnelling downwards in pursuit of Drill Knight, who has stolen the hero’s loot.
According to Yacht Club Games, its “levels have been meticulously crafted, then stitched together using proprietary generation techniques for infinite replayability”.
Horizon Chase 2 is the latest entry in the well-received arcade racing game series from Brazilian studio Aquiris.
It’s billed as “a classic fast-paced and accessible arcade racing game with a unique art style, thrilling soundtrack, and online multiplayer for all game modes”.
According to Apple, Hanx 101 Trivia was “created by award-winning actor, producer, and director Tom Hanks… as a way for him to share his love and passion for trivia”.
Developed by BlueLine Studios and releasing on September 2, it challenges players to beat their own high score or challenge others across a variety of quiz categories and game modes.
Recent additions to Apple Arcade include Amazing Bomberman and Air Twister, which is the latest title from Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki.
