The internet makes the world go round, or however the phrase goes. The internet is very important; you get my point. Sometimes, it’s hard to think of how life was before you had all the information in the world in the palm of your hand. If there’s one place that you really need to stay connected to the web, it’s at home.
That’s exactly why the major mobile carriers all offer some kind of home internet plan. In the case of T-Mobile, it’s its 5G Home Internet. If you’ve been on the fence about hopping on the carrier’s plan, I think the offer of $200 on a prepaid Mastercard might be enough to sway you to the right side.
Activate T-Mobile 5G Home Internet and the Carrier Will Give You a $200 Gift Card
When shopping around for the right ISP for your home, you might settle on one of the more popular mobile carriers, including T-Mobile. T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet plan gives you high-speed connectivity and rates that aren’t going to make you wince in pain. However, for one reason or another, you might be finding it tough to pull the trigger and make that decision.
Well, T-Mobile has just upgraded the usual promotion that it has for its 5G Home Internet. Normally, it’d offer you $150 as a new Home Internet subscriber, but this time around, that gift has been upped to $200. That comes on a prepaid Mastercard, which is even better than a gift card since you can use it to make purchases online or in person—basically anywhere that would normally accept a credit card.
I think this deal is definitely going to do well in getting people through the door. After all, who hates the sweet smell of free money? I don’t, that’s for sure.
Here’s What You Need to Know to Qualify for the $200 Prepaid Mastercard
Now, before you hop off your couch, get in your car, and run to the nearest T-Mobile outlet to sign up for 5G Home Internet, you need to know the conditions that qualify you for this deal. Don’t worry; you barely have to jump through any hoops to get this to work.
For one, this only works for activations that you do digitally. That means you simply won’t qualify if you sign up for the Home Internet plan in a T-Mobile outlet. You’re also going to need to register the code that you’re sent within 30 days of activating your new internet line. On top of that, each account is limited to take advantage of this promo just once.
However, understand that you won’t get the $200 card right off the bat. You will need to have your service active for a full 60 days before you receive the prepaid card. That’s for obvious reasons, as any earlier could have people sign up and cancel after taking hold of the prepaid card.
One Downside Is That T-Mobile 5G Home Internet Is Not Available Everywhere
Perhaps the biggest downside of this deal is that not all areas in the United States can take advantage of 5G Home Internet, despite the carrier’s attempts at expanding. That’s a shame because, besides the $200 prepaid card, you would have gotten as little as a free 5G gateway device and as much as Hulu and Paramount+ thrown in for free.
