In the latest Homekit Insider episode we review the new Sonos Era speakers, the Aqara G4 doorbell, and roundup the latest news.

There was a wealth of smart home news this week, making up for the drought we’d had the last few. It starts with Samsung relesaing a new swath of OLED televisions, all of which that support AirPlay 2.

Meross is launching a new contact sensor, different than many of the others in the fact it requires a hub to operate. No word on whether the contact sensor will be getting Matter support or not.

Nanoleaf has officially begun the release of its Matter lineup with several lights available and the rest launching in April and the remainder late in 2023.

The Aqara G4 smart video doorbell has released after being announced at CES 2023 and Ecovacs has a new lineup of smart vacuums that will work with Siri Shortcuts.

We wrap up the episode reviewing both the new Aqara G4 that we’ve been testing for the last couple months as well as the new Sonos Era 100 and Era 300 smart speakers.
