Apple on Tuesday released Someday, a short film directed by Spike Jonze that promotes the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation. In the film, Pedro Pascal stars as the main character who has his heart broken but the magical effects of the AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation brighten his gloomy day.
The video features two songs, “Conticinio” by Guitarricadelafuente, and “Perfect” by Sam i & Tropkillaz (feat. Bia & MC Pikachu). It also features some funky dance moves by Pascal, which should alleviate any concerns that comic book fans have about him being agile enough to play Mr. Fantastic in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. You can watch Someday below.
Jonze has collaborated with Apple before, having done the Welcome Home short film promoting the HomePod in 2018. That film also features a main character (played by FKA twigs) in a sad mood who finds an escape in music.
The AirPods 4 with Active Cancellation were released last September and have a retail price of $179, but they are frequently on sale for less. Apple also sells the AirPods 4 without ANC for $129, and the AirPods Pro 2 for $249 but these are also often on sale for less. Learn more about Apple’s AirPods.
