Splitter Critters+ is coming to Apple Arcade this Friday!

Popular App Store Great Splitter Critters is coming to Apple Arcade under the name Splitter Critters+ this Friday, Apple has confirmed to iMore.

The new game is set to tick all those nostalgia boxes for those of us who played it the first time around, with the title coming to iPad and iPhone on Friday, December 10.

Being an Apple Arcade game, Splitter Critters+ will be completely free of in-app purchases and ads and will be a free download for all Apple Arcade subscribers. Priced at $4.99 per month, the game subscription service is great value and is also available as part of the Apple One subscription bundle, too.

Split the world with a swipe of your finger and then rearrange it to guide critters back to their spaceship. Explore colorful planets full of danger, challenging puzzles, and innovative mechanics that will make you think in new ways. The immersive soundscapes of each world, best experienced with headphones, set the tone for your journey.

The original Splitter Critters was awarded the iPhone Game of the Year in 2017, while it also won an Apple Design Award in the very same year. When I say this is an App Store Great, that isn’t just a title — it’s a fact! You can download Splitter Critters+ from the App Store this Friday.
