Galaxy S23

Once upon a time, a 6.1” display would have been considered large. But smartphones, like smart TVs, are only getting bigger – you practically need a wheelbarrow to cart around the Galaxy Fold 4.

The S23, however, fits in one pocket and is easily manageable with one hand – assisted by the lack of protruding lenses. It’s compact, lightweight and, at around €970, a darn sight cheaper than the S23 Plus or Ultra. You get the same back camera set up as the S23 Plus, but the 10x optical zoom falls short of the Ultra’s 100x zoom.
