The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU has dropped to a record low price for Black Friday

Black Friday is a great time to build a new PC because so many internals are on sale. You can even check out our larger Black Friday roundup of deals on PC parts to see other ways to improve your build. We’re talking about the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X desktop processor right now because it’s on sale for $689.99 through the antonline eBay store. Antonline is one of the larger and more reliable places to shop on eBay outside of major retailers. We’ve seen the 5950X go on sale at other places like Amazon, but this deal is beating those sales by about $30. The processor has been selling for around $750 since August and was going for as much as $800 before that.

When we reviewed this processor back in January we gave it basically the highest marks we give: 5 out of 5 stars and called it The Best. Heck, Rich Edmonds even said it was overkill for some. He also said it’s “easily one of (if not) the best CPU for your custom PC you can buy right now.”

This processor includes 16 cores and 32 processing threads. It’s also unlocked so it can be overclocked and has a Max Boost of 4.9GHz. You’ll get great results from both multi-core and single-core performances. It works with the advanced Socket AM4 platform and can support PCIe 4.0 on the right motherboards. When playing games you can expect over 100 FPS with the power of this CPU. Build your new build around what the Ryzen 9 can do and you’ll be set for a long time to come.
