Yesterday was a big day for the American search giant turned tech juggernaut. Google released its newest smartphones. The Google Pixel 9 series is here — it seemed like just yesterday that the news came out that Google was finally making its own hardware to pair with its Android software.
Among the devices released yesterday are the Google Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro. There’s a lot of difference between them but both share the exact same dimensions and screen size. This case might be one of the nicest-looking ones I’ve seen. It resembles the puffer jackets that all the youngins wear these days and it certainly looks classy. The back is textured for good grip, and if it somehow slips out of your hands despite that, its build will tank drops and keep your screen and cameras protected.

If you hate when a case adds substantial thickness to your phone, this case from Mous will make you happy. It is super-thin and provides just enough of a lip to elevate your screen and cameras from surfaces. With the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, you get incredible value at its price point. The Google Pixel 9 and 9 Pro are gorgeous devices and you deserve to show that off. This clear case provides military-grade protection with a TPU frame and polycarbonate back. Spigen also says it has anti-yellowing tech in it, dodging one of the biggest problems of clear cases.

My favorite thing about Spigen cases is that you can get two or three of them at once because they’re so affordable. The base Google Pixel 9 will set you back $799, and that’s a lot of money. The price tag goes up to $999 with the Pixel 9 Pro. You’re going to want to protect your phone, as much as you might want to use it naked to take in all that beauty.
My personal favorite is easily the Caseology Athlex because it is such a different look for a case while still providing plenty of protection for your smartphone. After that, I’m a big fan of the Tudia MergeGrip because it is nice to get a solid case with Qi2 compatibility for a sensible price.
