There are three models in Samsung’s smartwatch lineup this year, instead of the usual two. The base model is the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, which was presented as a budget option. As expected, the Galaxy Watch 7 is a direct successor to the Galaxy Watch 6, at least when pricing is taken into account.

The 40mm size of the Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to cost between $299 and $310. For reference, $299 was also the base price for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, so you can expect this device to be an incremental upgrade to that. There’s no word on the pricing for the 44mm model of the smartwatch, but if anything, I assume it will be the same as last year’s, which began at $329.

In regards to the colors that the smartwatch is going to be available in, we’re expecting Marble Gray, Cream White, and Forest Green colorways, which are nice options to have available.

The Watch 7 Ultra Will Set You Back Close To The Price Of A Galaxy S24

The Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra is expected to come in just one size, which will be a very large 47mm case size. This is going to be the first Ultra-tagged smartwatch from Samsung. It’s not going to be a replacement for the Watch 6 Classic and there’s no analog for that with this year’s lineup. Instead, the Watch 7 Ultra will ascend to a height no Galaxy Watch has before, both in specs and pricing.

Speaking of pricing, the Watch 7 Ultra is going to be the most expensive Galaxy Watch of all time, with a price that is expected to be between $699 and $710. Sure, that’s cheaper than the Apple Watch Ultra which is its direct competitor. That costs $799. So, yes, it is competitive pricing, but it is still very expensive for a smartwatch, as the Watch 7 Ultra almost costs as much as the Galaxy S24 which had a base price of $799.

The Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra is only going to be available in a single color which is Titanium Gray. We can assume that’s the colorway we saw in the leaked renders of the smartwatch. I like how the smartwatch looks, but it definitely isn’t for me with a starting price that is as steep as that.
