This is the newest 2025 base model iPad, which now charges over USB-C like the fancier Air and Pro models. It also gets a processor and storage upgrade, up to a full 128GB, which is great for handling games and downloaded videos. Amazon is offering the yellow and pink versions for $277.78, a great discount from its $350 retail price.
If you want something a little more standard, the blue and silver colors are on sale for $299. An extra twenty bucks or so seems like a pretty good trade for a device you’ll be using for years if you don’t like the color… but it’s also enough to get a nice case that’ll cover that color up.
