The Nokia 225 4G is now on sale in the US from $49

Sometimes you just want a really affordable phone to use while working or heading off for an outdoor adventure that won’t dent your wallet or make you cry if it suffers a mishap along the way, which is where the Nokia 225 4G comes in. Pricing starts from $49 in the US for a phone with 4G connectivity and essential apps such as Snake and Facebook.

With a tiny 2.4-inch display that has QVGA resolution, the Nokia 225 4G is 124.7mm tall, 51mm wide, and 13.7mm thick, so it’s hardly going to take up any space. Powering the unit is a Unisoc USM9117 processor that is accompanied by 128MB of RAM and 64MB of storage. There’s a single rear camera of unknown specification although it’s likely to be of VGA quality, a removable 1,150mAh battery and a MicroUSB charging port. You’ll be pleasantly surprised that there is also a 3.5mm audio jack present, although Bluetooth 5.0 is supported if that’s your preference.

Finally, the Nokia 225 4G offers dual-SIM functionality, with 2 x nano SIM card slots. You can pick up the Nokia 225 4G in Black for $49 from today, with Classic Blue becoming available soon, while the Metallic Sand color will only be available from Nokia’s online store.
