The OnePlus Nord line was introduced in 2020 to provide midrange options for OnePlus lovers who don’t need or want to spend on a top-of-the-line smartphone. Since then, each generation has been much-awaited by many OnePlus fans. The OnePlus Nord 4, the next in line, should arrive soon.
According to a post by tipster Max Jambor on X, the OnePlus Nord 4 is the company’s next phone, and it goes by the internal codename “Audi.” The tweet doesn’t include any leaked info on the phone, so if you were hoping for “officially leaked” specs, those aren’t available yet.
However, if the OnePlus Nord 4 release is anything like the release of the OnePlus Nord 3, it will likely be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3V which is likely to launch this month. The OnePlus Nord 3 and the Ace 2V were not identical, but they shared a lot of features.
If that’s the case, it might be helpful for you to know that some OnePlus Ace 3V specs have been leaked. It’s expected to have a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a huge 5,500 mAh battery, and 100W fast charging. It also looks set to be the first smartphone launched with the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. The OnePlus Nord 4 should probably come with identical specs in these categories.
It Might End Up Being The OnePlus Nord 5, And Not The Nord 4
The name of the upcoming Nord device is not certain, but it might not be called the OnePlus Nord 4 at the end of the day. Instead, OnePlus may skip the four and go straight for the Nord 5 moniker. Many East Asian countries avoid the number 4 as much as possible because of superstitions that associate it with death.
