The Best Android Tablets of 2025

Android tablets don’t get much love, but nowadays, an Android tablet can be a great experience. Start with these if you’re looking for an alternative to the iPads and convertible laptops on the market today.

The most interesting thing about the OnePlus Pad 3, however, has nothing to do with the company’s own ecosystem. Imagine being able to easily share files between your iPhone/Mac and your Android tablet, or controlling your Mac remotely from the same tablet. This is exactly what OnePlus is teasing, and it sounds promising. We’re not sure exactly how it will work, but it will likely have something to do with a companion app on those Apple devices.

OnePlus’s popular Open Canvas multitasking feature, which I alluded to earlier, will be returning as well. This means you can arrange and interact with multiple apps in a way that I’ve never really seen on other large-screen devices. Expect it to get better still, though, as OnePlus says to expect “next-level multitasking” through an upgraded version of Open Canvas.

As for its looks, the OnePlus Pad 3 will arrive in the US and Canada in a dark “Storm Blue” color. The camera housing on the back has been moved from the center to the side, and it’s thankfully much smaller. Other specs include a 13.2-inch 144Hz LCD display, 12,140 mAh battery, and Android 15 out of the box.

OnePlus is also planning to make the launch extra appealing for early adopters. When the Pad 3 goes live on June 5, you’ll be able to snag two free accessories with your purchase (while supplies last). You can choose from the OnePlus Pad 3 Smart Keyboard, the OnePlus Stylo 2 stylus, or the OnePlus Pad 3 Folio Case. OnePlus did not share the price of the Pad 3 itself. Previous models cost around $500, but that very likely could change this time around.
