While we await the launch of the GT 2 Pro series in Europe it seems that Realme isn’t sitting idly because it is also bringing its more affordable 9 Pro series to the continent. Consisting of a pair of handsets, the Realme 9 Pro series will feature 5G connectivity across the board for the first time.
The news of the upcoming Realme 9 Pro series launch comes as the brand has posted impressive sales figures for Q3 2021 with a headline rise of 831% in comparison to other OEMs, including the likes of OPPO, Samsung, and Xiaomi. Year-on-year growth between 2020 and 2021 is also impressive with Realme’s number series achieving between a 306% and 651% increase.
Realme’s new series consists of the 9 Pro and 9 Pro+, both of which offer 5G connectivity with the vanilla 9 Pro apparently being powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, and the 9 Pro+ by MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 5G.
