Sony released the LinkBuds earbuds earlier this year, which have a unique open-ring design with a hole in the middle for surroundings to come through — ideal for outdoor activity. Now the earbuds are on sale, ahead of Black Friday.

Sony has dropped the LinkBuds to $128 at multiple stores, a discount of $51.99 from the original MSRP, and the lowest recorded price yet. The LinkBuds is a pair of true wireless earbuds, with some of the usual features you might expect, like 5.5 hours of battery life and a case with a USB Type-C port for charging. However, unlike most other earbuds, it has an open-ring design instead of an in-ear or on-ear frame.

The unique design makes the LinkBuds one of the best earbuds available for running, biking, or other activities where you need to hear your surroundings while playing media. It’s also just a comfortable design for anyone who doesn’t like the feel of in-ear earbuds.

We gave the earbuds an 8/10 in our Sony LinkBuds review, thanks to its excellent touch controls, comfortable fit, and unique design. However, the charging case is a little larger than with most of its competitors, and the battery life could be a bit better.
