The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Will Let Go Of An Iconic Color

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is the Korean company’s clamshell foldable and it’s a popular option thanks to being cheaper and more fashionable (in my opinion) than the bigger Z Fold 6.
That means that the Z Flip 6 is the fun sibling, and that’s why it is usually able to try out more daring colors. This year, thanks to a leak from Ross Young on X, we know that the Z Flip 6 will have four main color options: Light Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow, and Yellow. It will also offer some more exclusive colors named Crafted Black, Peach, and White.
However, you might notice that one particular color is notably missing, and it’s probably the color that comes to mind when you imagine the Z Flip. Yep, that’s right. If the leak is to be believed, Samsung is going to drop the Purple colorway this year, though there certainly isn’t any lack of other exciting options.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Stays More Formal With Its Color Choices
The Z Fold 6 is aimed at power users, business users, or people who simply want the latest and greatest (at least from Samsung) foldable in town. That’s why the Galaxy Z Fold line has never been known for exploring too deep into the color wheel and things stay the same this year.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be available in Navy, Light Pink, and Silver Shadow. There will also be more exclusive Crafted Black and White colors made in lower volumes than the rest. Light Pink is a bit of a change from the usual tone of the Z Fold lineup, so it’s a bit of a nice change of pace for the book-style foldable series.
Samsung’s Foldables Won’t Make A Change To Their Storage Configurations
The leak also let us in on the storage configurations that we can expect from the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 and the answer isn’t as exciting as you might think since the phones are said to offer the same storage options as they did last year.
That means a 256GB and 512GB option for the Z Flip 6; and a 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB set for the Z Fold 6. There’s no talk on how much RAM to expect, but personally, I wouldn’t expect too much of a change there either. Samsung doesn’t seem to be in a rush to maximize the spec sheet of their foldables, though I fear considering the competition, this may get to a point where it burns them.
