For the new ninth-generation Camry, Toyota offers their mid-size sedan in two distinct flavors. The SE offers a couple more standard features over the LE, but the most important distinction is that it features a sportier suspension tune. The XLE and XSE both offer more features and better levels of comfort, with the same unique suspension tune separating the two models.
While there are plenty of other fantastic hybrid sedans in this segment, the Toyota Camry has an edge when it comes to price. To get hybrid versions of competitors like the Honda Accord or the Hyundai Sonata, you’ll have to pay north of $30,000. The Camry is now one of the most affordable mid-size hybrid sedans.
Best Value Trim

The Camry can be had in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with the latter outlined above. Front-wheel drive models only feature two electric motors and make a reduced 225 horsepower. It may not be as quick off the line as the Honda Accord Hybrid, but it’ll never feel slow when you put your foot down.
Just in case you were starting to think the Camry was borderline sporty, Toyota has included a fun-sapping CVT. Comfort is the name of the game, though, and you’ll find the Camry features some pretty impressive ride quality. While the SE and XSE offer pretty good levels of handling, steering is a little numb.

If fuel economy is what you value most, then the LE is the way to go. With its smaller 16-inch wheels, it can easily get 50+ miles per gallon. The larger wheels on the SE, XLE and XSE affect efficiency quite a lot, with front-wheel drive models dropping several miles per gallon over the LE. All-wheel drive XSE models get it the worst though, losing nearly ten miles per gallon compared to the most efficient Camry trim.
Despite the large variations in efficiency between the different trims, the Camry still remains one of the most efficient hybrid mid-size sedans on the market. This only adds to the already impressive value proposition of the 2025 Camry.

Infotainment And Technology
There is plenty of modern tech in this Toyota. On the base LE model, you’ll find an eight-inch infotainment screen. A 12.3-inch unit is available on the SE as an extra and standard on the XLE and XSE trims. In any case, you’ll find the system responsive and easy to use. Every model comes with a digital gauge display, but only the top trims get the 12.3-inch screen.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connection is now standard on every Camry, which is fantastic. The main area where people may be disappointed is the sound system. Base models feature a budget six-speaker system, while top trims instead get a nine-speaker JBL system, which isn’t as impressive as you might hope.
