In the lower audio tiers, Sony might have a few stinkers that go way too hard on the bass. However, don’t mess with them in the premium weight class. The Sony WF-1000XM5 gives you incredible sound, built-in Alexa, 24 hours of total playtime with fast charging, IPX4 certification, and arguably the best ANC in earbuds.

Remember Devialet? The company that made the really cool Phantom speaker years back? It’s a premium brand, so the eye-watering price tag on its Gemini II earbuds isn’t surprising. You get 22 hours of battery life, ANC, surprisingly loud bass, and very crisp sound. You’ll almost certainly get a great fit too, with four eartips included.

As expensive as these are, they’re the best budget option on the list. I’ve never seen an earbud charging case with a display, but there’s a first time for everything. But I don’t think anyone expected any less from Bose in these departments.

However, one highlight is the smart case. You can plug it into a USB-C or 3.5mm jack and it’ll instantly serve as a Bluetooth adapter to connect your earbuds.

B&O is another one of those luxury audio brands where everything they make is expensive. That applies here. I will admit you get a really nice earbud design (the case is relatively basic), with great sound, ANC, and IP57 certification. The most disappointing aspect is only 20 hours of battery life with the case though.

You also get ANC and a transparency mode, along with a touch sensor on the side. The battery life is dismal though, at just 18.5 hours with the case.
