Alright, people: if you’ve been waiting on an affordable price for an OLED gaming monitor, now is your time. eBay is offering a 27-inch 1440p model from Cooler Master for just $389.99, a couple hundred bucks under the going rate for these screens from any major supplier. It’s also the cheapest OLED I’ve ever seen! The first to crack the $400 floor.
If you’ve been eyeing this segment, you probably know the specs. A 2560×1440 OLED panel, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03 millisecond response time. Even if it’s common, that’s still plenty fast for multiplayer online gaming, making the Cooler Master Tempest GZ2711 an excellent monitor for all kinds of games and video. It also has a few extra features you don’t see on entry-level monitors, including USB-C with up to 96 watts of power delivery. That means this monitor is an excellent companion to all but the most power-hungry gaming laptops.
But perhaps the best thing about this sale is that this monitor is new, not refurbished, as is often the case on eBay, which means it should come with the full manufacturer’s warranty. (That means three years of coverage, according to Cooler Master’s page.) It’s being sold by Focus Camera, a retail store based in New Jersey, and shipping for free.
I doubt this deal will stick around for very long, so hop on it quickly if you’ve been waiting for a cheap-but-brand-new OLED monitor. If you need something bigger or more affordable, be sure to check out PCWorld’s picks for the best gaming monitors.
