This 75-inch Samsung 4K TV is PS5 and Xbox Series X ready — and now $800 off

If you want to play the best games for the Xbox Series X and Series on a big screen, Best Buy has a deal worth checking out. The 75-inch Samsung Q80A is down to $1,900, which is close to the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the TV.

The Samsung Q80A features Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology that allows for 100% color volume and billions of shades. It supports Quantum HDR12X as well. As you’ll probably also use your TV to enjoy movies and TV shows, it’s a nice perk that the Samsung Q80A can upscale content to 4K using machine learning.

Just a couple of months ago, in August 2021, the Samsung Q80A was discounted to $2,200. Before that sale, we had never seen the Samsung Q80A for less than $2,600. The TV briefly dipped to $1,872 in September, but its current price of $1,900 is still a great deal. We expect pricing to stay within this bracket through Black Friday 2021.

The Samsung Q80A has many specs that help it compete with the best 4K TVs for the Xbox Series X and Series S, including a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. Its QLED panel helps deliver better contrast and color than normal LCD panels. One of its four HDMI ports supports HDMI 2.1.

While it isn’t needed for gaming on an Xbox console, the TV also supports FreeSync Premium Pro, which is a nice addition for PC gaming.

On the audio side of things, the Samsung Q80A delivers 3D audio by tracking objects as they move on the screen.

If you don’t have space for a 75-inch television or just prefer a smaller TV, you can pick up the Samsung Q80A in sizes as small as 50 inches. The 50-inch Samsung Q80A is $1,050 right now, which is down from its normal price of $1,200. That’s a smaller discount than you’ll get on the 75-inch model but is still a savings of $150.
