This Asus OLED laptop is almost half price, but you’d never know it

In a strange turn of events, there’s an epic Asus Zenbook deal that’s just surfaced, but it’s very difficult to spot.

For anyone who’s currently on the lookout for an affordable new laptop, I’ve spotted just the deal for you. If you head on over to Amazon right now then you can get the feature-packed Asus Zenbook 14 OLED for just £549.99.

What you won’t realise though (because Amazon hasn’t drawn any attention to it) is that that price is a massive reduction on the laptop’s original £899.99 RRP. I don’t know why Amazon hasn’t highlighted the saving, but now that it’s been brought to your attention, there’s little reason as to why you shouldn’t pounce on it.

Even though there’s no mention of the deal on the product page, the Asus Zenbook 14 is actually £350 cheaper than its launch price, making it a bargain laptop with a gorgeous OLED display and crisp 2.8K resolution.

There are a few reasons why this particular laptop is an absolute bargain at just £549.99, but the highlight above all is undoubtedly the display. For starters, it’s an OLED panel which means you’re going to see gorgeous contrast thanks to self-lighting pixels that can really bring out the best picture quality in any film or TV show you’re streaming.

It’s incredibly bright too with a peak brightness of 400nits, while the 2.8K resolution keeps everything looking crisp, which is handy if you’re spending hours looking at documents and spreadsheets for work.

Under the hood you’ve got the powerful AMD Ryzen 7-7730U chipset, which can lean on a massive 16GB of memory for day to day tasks, while the 512GB SSD provides more than enough to locally store key files, photos and videos.

While we haven’t tested the laptop ourselves, it does currently have a high 4.1-star rating from 379 customer reviewers.

As a final point, you’re also spoilt for choice when it comes to ports. You’ve got one USB-A, two USB-C, an HDMI dock, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a slot for Micro SD cards, so you have plenty of options for adding accessories and quickly editing any footage that you’ve shot on a camera.

With all of these features in mind, you’d be hard pushed to find a better value laptop right now, so don’t let the offer pass you by.
