There are tons of laptops of all sizes on sale for this year’s Prime Day event, but there’s one that particularly sticks out. The Dell XPS 13 9310 is one of our favorite laptops ever thanks to its flawless design and stellar performance. Despite its aggressive pricing it is generally considered to sit in the premium cost range, but a listing at Amazon has it drastically discounted.
Regularly priced at $1,630, this high-end model is down to $1,299. That’s a savings of $331, or 20% of the total price. We’ve not seen any XPS 13 sales at Dell’s official website come close to touching this discount, some of which we’ve rounded up in our collection of the best Prime Day laptop deals. If you’re thinking about upgrading your 13-inch Ultrabook, this is the best deal we’ve seen so far.
The XPS 13 9310 is the latest version of Dell’s exceptional 13-inch Ultrabook. This particular model has an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1185G7 CPU, Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a sizable 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD. This is enough performance to handle a relatively heavy workload, even with some media editing worked in. The laptop is Intel Evo certified, meaning it is guaranteed to have snappy performance even on battery life, as well as a number of high-end features including Thunderbolt 4. Indeed, you can expect more than 13 hours of life on a charge.
The keyboard is about as good as it gets for a laptop this size, with keys stretching from edge to edge. Typing is comfortable, even for all-day binges, and the Precision touchpad below makes good use of available space. Audio is good, especially for how thin the laptop is, plus there’s a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones. The built-in webcam is really the weakest feature here, but it’s still perfectly workable.
The display has a taller 16:10 aspect ratio with no chin at all, making it seem like the laptop is all screen and keyboard. It makes for a great look even when the laptop is off; when the screen comes alive, it’s truly impressive. This model has a 1920×1200 resolution, anti-reflective coating for less glare, and 500 nits of brightness. Color reproduction is spot on, and contrast is excellent.
This really is one of the best options out there when it comes to 13-inch laptops, and this particularly high-end model is enjoying a huge discount for Prime Day. If you’ve been waiting for a great deal, definitely consider this one before it sells out.
