Based on Android 15, HyperOS 2 will bring a host of AI enhancements to these phones, tablets, and wearables. Called HyperAI, it incorporates features such as AI-powered lock screens, AI Anti-Fraud protection, and integration with Mi Canvas on tablets.
HyperOS 2 also features a redesigned desktop with customizable widgets and a refreshed layout. It also offers additional personalization, security, performance, and productivity enhancements.
The schedule follows the recent release of the Xiaomi 15 series in China. It is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is set to compete with the OnePlus 13 and Oppo’s Dimensity 9400-powered Find X8 Pro.
Hopefully, your Xiaomi phone is mentioned in the release schedule, but if it isn’t, there’s always a chance that more devices will be added once the first tranches of updates have rolled out. If not, it may be time to look at upgrading your handset to gain access to the new features, cameras, and security improvements.
Let us know in the comments below if your phone is included in the list, and if it is, keep an eye out for the update rolling out.
