[Today’s Global Trending Coins] Kaito, HyperLiquid, Bitcoin, USDC, OfficialTrump & Others

According to the Token Mindshare (a metric quantifying the influence of specific tokens in the virtual asset market) top gainers from Kaito, an AI-based Web3 search platform, the top 5 most trending virtual asset keywords as of the 15th are Kaito (KAITO), HyperLiquid (HYPE), Bitcoin (BTC), USD Coin (USDC), and OfficialTrump (TRUMP).

Kaito took first place, primarily due to its recent announcement of plans to launch its native token ‘KAITO’. Through its official X account, Kaito stated, “The transition to the InfoFi era begins with our native token. The token will be utilized for market force control, network currency, and community governance activation.”

HyperLiquid, a Layer1 (L1) blockchain specialized in futures trading, ranked second. HyperLiquid’s token ‘HYPE’ has shown remarkable performance since its launch in December last year. HYPE has recorded approximately 180% growth over two months. During the same period, Bitcoin and Ethereum declined by 3% and 32% respectively. HYPE is currently trading around $26.

Bitcoin followed suit. Bitcoin is trading at around $97,500 on the Binance USDT market, up about 0.8% from the previous day. Despite recent weakness, institutional demand for Bitcoin remains strong. Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund purchased $436.9 million worth of BlackRock’s Bitcoin spot ETF ‘IBIT’ in Q1 this year, and Barclays also newly acquired 2.47 million shares of IBIT.

USD Coin has reached its highest market capitalization in 2 years and 8 months, showing strong upward momentum. USDC, which faced a crisis during the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) collapse in 2023, is now challenging Tether (USDT)’s position with support from the U.S. government.

The meme coin OfficialTrump, issued by U.S. President Donald Trump, is also attracting significant investor attention, having surged over 30% recently. OfficialTrump is currently trading at $21.7 on the Binance USDT market.

Investors are also showing interest in Solana (SOL), Meteora (MET), PumpFun (PUMP), XRP, and Jito (JTO).
