TP-Link announced at Computex 2025 multiple new routers, growing its collection of Wi-Fi 7 networking gear. It includes routers ready for 10-gig internet connections, something on the horizon in certain US cities.
All of the routers TP-Link announced include tri-band coverage using the Wi-Fi 7 standard. While most of them are mesh routers, there’s a standalone unit, the Archer BE9700. It carries the third 6Ghz band with its six positionable antennae and beamforming capabilities. It has a 10 Gbps WAN/LAN port, plus a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port and three additional 2.5 Gbps LAN ports, so you won’t be short of Ethernet connectivity. It beats out one our favorite budget Wi-Fi 7 router from last year, the TP-Link BE9300, by running a little faster and looking a little less like a Bionicle. The BE9700 runs a little pricier $250, which you can shell out now at Best Buy. TP-Link says it’ll be on Amazon too in the coming months.

What TP-Link is most excited about though is its Deco BE14000 mesh system. A three-pack gets you claimed wireless coverage of up to 8,100 square feet, and speeds said to reach a whopping 14 Gbps in total. It supports an upwards of 200 devices, and each unit has a 10-gig WAN/LAN port and a 2.5-gig LAN, plus a USB 3.0 port for additional functionality.
The Deco BE14000 three-pack is available for $600 at Best Buy, and it’ll be appearing on Amazon sometime in the near future.
TP-Link is also heading outdoors with this round of routers, showing off its Deco BE11000 outdoor mesh router. It’s an 11-gig unit you can combine with an already existing mesh setup to extend your coverage (up to 3,000 square feet) outside. It has an IP65 weatherproofing rating and is designed to be mounted in several different ways depending on your patio or garage setup.
The Deco BE11000 will run you $300 and is available now on Best Buy.
10 gigabit internet may sound wild, but it’s more real than you might think. Google Fiber is already selling 8-gig internet plans in my town, and the horizon is only going to get faster. The Wi-Fi 7 standard has been making this more and more realistic since it debuted a few years ago. Of course, to take full advantage of it, you’ll need Wi-Fi 7 wireless devices, which are still the cutting edge. Anything that’s at least Wi-Fi 6E, though, will at least let you hop on any level of tri-band connections.

Even without tri-band, this appears to be a great option for anyone who needs to extend their Wi-Fi signal beyond the home.
Of course, we can’t talk about TP-Link without mentioning its precarious status in the US. It’s a fact that some US lawmakers want to ban TP-Link routers. It remains to be seen if any actual band will arrive or how it would be enforced, but it’s something to keep in mind and keep an eye on if you’re considering buying a TP-Link router.
