For those who want an amazing camera experience, fantastic displays, and arguably the best software in the Android ecosystem (emphasis on arguably), and something a little different from the Samsung parade, the Google Pixel smartphones are a good place to find yourself.
A few months ago, Google launched the Pixel 9 smartphones, with the vanilla Pixel 9 model at the bottom of the stack. It might be the regular model, but it is as impressive as any Pixel. Even better is that you can get it for essentially free, thanks to a new trade-in deal T-Mobile is running. You just need to trade in an eligible, older Android device.
T-Mobile Will Give You Up To $800 Off The Google Pixel 9 For Trading In An Old Smartphone
The Google Pixel 9 launched at $799, which for the average flagship smartphone, is actually an okay price. For that amount, you get a 50MP primary sensor and a 48MP ultrawide (and we all know Pixel cameras are fantastic), a pure Android experience, an FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4,700mAh battery. In all, the entire package isn’t bad for what you get.
Now, with the holidays coming up, T-Mobile is slapping a pretty sweet deal on the table, and the prize is the Google Pixel 9. By trading in an eligible older smartphone, you get the chance to get the Google Pixel 9 for up to $800 off. That’s the entire price tag eliminated. The deal also applies to the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL, though you won’t be getting either for free, obviously.
Of course, you might think that sounds too good to be true, and you wouldn’t be entirely wrong, but the only catch isn’t too massive. The deal is online only, and you’ll need to pay the full sales tax at the onset as well as add a $35 device connection fee to the mix. This will come to about a total of $100 for most states, but paying $100 and an older Android device for a Pixel 9 is definitely what I’d call a good holiday deal.
Which Smartphones Are Eligible For Trade-In On Google’s T-Mobile Pixel 9 Deal?
Now, before you get too excited, taking advantage of this deal is very dependent on whether you have a smartphone that T-Mobile is willing to take in.
