Unlock Area 51 Secrets with Dbrand’s Latest Skins

It’s a good day for Android users as the Canadian company popular for making high-quality skins, Dbrand, has just launched a new 3D-layered skin. It shows an accurate topographical map of Area 51, the highly secretive US military base in the Nevada desert.

Rumor has it that it’s hiding advanced aircraft and military technologies, and maybe extraterrestrial life. No one knows for certain, but Dbrand has given you a map to find out for yourself. Happy discovering!

Initially, Dbrand launched its 3D-layered skin to commemorate the iPhone 16 series launch. But they have also made versions for Android phones. It’s now available for over 200 devices, including popular Android models like the Galaxy S24 and Z Fold 6 series.

Plus, the skin comes in three colors; Danger (Red), Hazard (Yellow), and Classified (Black). Dbrand used Ultraviolet (UV) printing technology, in partnership with Canon and 3M, to give it a unique textured feel. Canon is a famous company that makes printers and cameras, while 3M is another renowned for making adhesives and tapes.

Their combined expertise brought the skins to life. The printing process began with applying thick, high-viscosity ink in layers to the case material. It doesn’t get absorbed into the material like traditional printing methods, but sits on the surface.  Then UV light is used to dry it immediately to create a tactile, 3D effect that mimics a topographical map.

Planning on visiting Area 51? We don’t blame you. Having paid a “visit” to the base ourselves, we can confirm that it’s a one-of-a-kind sightseeing destination. To help you prepare for your visit, we’ve created a detailed topographic map that doubles as a protective skin. Don’t forget to tell the aliens we sent you.

Dbrand’s Prism 2.0 offers top protection & easy installation

It’s worth noting that these realistic skins and the Grip case are different products. The skin is an adhesive cover that wraps around your phone to give it a customized look. The case, on the other hand, is a protective accessory that provides physical protection to your phone’s body.

Alongside the skins, Dbrand has introduced the Prism 2.0 screen protector. It’s made from tough tempered glass, which rates a 7 on the Mohs scale and is strong enough to resist scratches from most items, including your car keys or coins.

Dbrand calls its Prism 2.0 screen protector “idiot proof” because it’s really easy to install. They designed it so you can’t mess it up, even if you’ve never applied a screen protector before. But if you do mess it up, you have a second protector to try again with. It comes with two protectors per order.

The product box comes with a microfiber cloth, two alcohol wipes, and a squeegee to help you smooth out bubbles. Also in the box is the screen protector attached to an installation tray. You’ll simply align the tray with your phone’s screen, then remove its pull tab. Swipe down as indicated on the tray and wait for some minutes. Then remove it and you have a perfectly fitted screen protector.
