Updated Nothing Launcher (Beta) gains compatibility with all Android 11+ smartphones

Having released the initial version of its Launcher (Beta) on the Play Store a couple of weeks ago, Nothing has announced an update that brings compatibility with any phone running Android 11 or higher as well as a few tweaks. As updates go, there isn’t too much to get excited about but it does show that Nothing is developing its launcher app, albeit at a slow and deliberate pace.

While the Nothing Launcher (Beta) only has a 2.8 rating on the Play Store, it’s important to take remember that it is an app in development. Despite wanting Nothing to add more features that would make it worthwhile to run full-time on our current phones, it’s unlikely that we’ll see the finished article before the Phone (1) is unveiled.

Anyhow, if you’ve got it installed on your device already, you can update it now to get these new improvements:

    1. The Launcher app icon is now available on the home screen.
    2. New How-to-Set-Up page when you open Launcher for the first time
    3. Easily change to the Nothing wallpaper with the pop-up box.
    4. For easy access, the Dropbox link to download bonus wallpapers and ringtones now sits in Launcher settings.

If you haven’t installed it or perhaps even uninstalled it, you can download it to your device via the Play Store link below:
