The Roku OS is designed to make it easier, faster, and more affordable for consumers to watch what they love. We are pleased to build on our partnership with CHiQ to launch Roku’s next QLED TV model in the UK. This new series combines CHiQ’s high-end TVs with Roku’s smart yet simple streaming platform to create the perfect home entertainment experience at a great price point.

Richard Halton, Country Manager at Roku UK.

CHiQ is a well-known name in good-quality, affordable electronics. When combined with the Roku smart TV system, you can watch your favorite apps like Netflix, BBC iPlayer, and Disney+. While Roku is in a celebratory mood, you can exploit their free three months of Apple TV+ offer while you’re at it.

Dolby Audio adds great sound, and the HDMI 2.1 ports support faster data transfer, typically up to 48 Gbps. Your TV will display 4K content around 120Hz and you should experience smooth playback overall, especially in fast-moving scenes.

The TVs support Dynamic HDR as well, adjusting the picture quality for each frame. With the USB 2.0 ports, you can plug in your flash drives to watch videos, view photos, or play music. It could even be your external hard drives.

Turn on your TV to start streaming

It’s good that Roku is built into the new QLED TVs because it makes everything simpler and more convenient. Roku already provides a user-friendly interface that combines all your favorite streaming services in one place, including Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, YouTube, and many more.

Instead of needing a separate streaming stick or box, the Roku platform is already inside the TV, so you can start streaming right away without extra setup or cables.

Roku also gives you regular software updates, meaning your TV stays up-to-date with the latest apps, features, and security improvements. You can even customize your home screen and use voice control compatibility with Alexa. You’ll search for shows, change channels, or control the TV without needing to press buttons.
