Vivo’s IQOO Pad 2 Pro Packs 144Hz Displays And Flagship Chips

The iQoo Pad 2 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset, the company’s direct answer to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, set to power high-end devices like the upcoming Vivo X100s series. Earlier Dimensity 9300+ leaks already show that it can go toe-to-toe with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in certain synthetic benchmarks, while also offering very competitive GPU performance. Built on the advanced TSMC N4P manufacturing process, this chipset is expected to excel in power efficiency, enhancing its premium appeal even further.

Both tablets come with up to (max) 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, putting the highest variants of the tablets on par with other flagship tablets today. While the Pro model supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard, the more basic iQoo Pad 2 stays at Wi-Fi 6E (still plenty fast and super-overkill for everyday tasks).

As for non-compute-related features, the iQoo Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch 144Hz IPS screen with a resolution of 2,800 × 1,968 pixels, while the Pro model offers a slightly larger 13-inch 144Hz display with a higher resolution of 3,096 × 2,064 pixels.

For their cameras, the iQoo Pad 2 has an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front unit, while the Pro model features a 13MP rear unit that can do 4K video, plus an 8MP selfie camera. Additional AI features are (very soon) expected to enhance the performance of these components even further.

Battery specs are listed as 10,000mAh and 11,500mAh for the iQoo Pad 2 and iQoo Pad 2 Pro respectively. The former will also support 44W fast charging, while the latter will have 66W fast charging.

As flagship products, first-party accessories are also part of the product package. This includes an active stylus, a keyboard case, and a folio case. Oh and, OriginOS 4 as usual will be based on Android 14.

Although Vivo’s iQoo brand has occasionally distributed products internationally, keep in mind that such a launch might still be ultimately limited. As for Indian consumers, however, they can at least expect the iQoo Pad 2 and iQoo Pad 2 Pro to be locally available soon, so stay tuned.
