Wacom introduces 4 new products including the first Wacom One to feature touch input

What you need to know

  • Wacom is celebrating 40 years in the digital creative industry with an announcement for 4 new digitizers aimed at entry level artists and note takers.
  • The Wacom One 13 is the first device in the One family to feature touch input support.
  • The new One family of products are more customizable, allowing you to choose from different stylus pens and software packages to suit your needs.

On paper, digital art is the perfect medium for beginner artists. The fear of messing up and wasting expensive traditional paints and papers goes to the wayside, for example. Any savings on paint, though, can quickly be spent on purchasing a digitizer or pen display for creating. Entry level pen tablets can be shockingly affordable, but if you’re looking to up your digital painting game with a nicer pen display it doesn’t take long to discover that they can be quite cost prohibitive.

The Wacom One pen display has enjoyed a top position among the best drawing monitors currently available. The display is reasonably priced for a high-quality entry-level product with a beginner friendly design, but it’s not a one size fits all pen display.  That’s why Wacom has recently made strides to expand the One family of products with 4 new devices—2 pen tablets and 2 pen displays.

Something for everyone
