Warriors guard Damion Lee is having a busy off-season. Lee and wife Sydel Curry-Lee are preparing for their first child in November, and he recently surprised his mother with a brand-new Audi.
Lee posted the moment on Twitter: “You never want for anything, so here’s a token of appreciation for all the sacrifices you’ve made for me! Love you ma!,” he wrote.

He surprised his mother at an Audi dealership. She was under the impression that Lee was buying a car for himself and was shocked to learn the new set of wheels was hers.
“I can’t believe you bought me this car,” she exclaimed. After some moments of disbelief and embraces, she expressed her heartfelt appreciation: “It’s beautiful. I love it.”
But the effort put into the surprise was not lost: “You got me good. Oh, you got me good.”
Lee, 28, is married to Warriors star Stephen Curry’s sister. Last season he played in 57 games for the Warriors. He contracted coronavirus in April — even after he was vaccinated — and sat out the the remainder of the season.
