They beckon at farm stands this time of year as the aromas of sweet cider and just-baked goodness fill the air. Dusted in cinnamon and sugar — and preferably still warm — cider doughnuts are a must-have treat. 

Here’s where to enjoy the autumnal favorite on the North Fork. Get ‘em while they’re hot!

Reeve Farm 

This no-frills spot along Sound Avenue in Riverhead is perfect for finding freshly harvested produce and specialty items like apple cider and doughnuts.
