Will the ipad.com owner ever strike a deal with Apple?

Ah damn, I remember this domain from many years ago. At this point, the owner is probably burning ~$13/year (registration fees) to sit on that domain. I don’t think Apple will ever pay what he thinks he can get. That ship probably sailed years ago.
