Wuthering Waves 1.1 is set to launch this June! With the new version knocking on your door, Kuro Games is offering a host of new content, including new playable resonators, bosses, and more. Read on for the full details.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 Release Date

Kuro Games officially announced early access to allow their players to explore more of their content and features. Starting on June 6, 2024, at 10:00 (UTC+8), they will release a Compansion Story “Solidary Path” for Resonator Yinlin, the Featured Resonator Convene event “When Thunder Pours” for Yinlin, the limited-time challenge event “Alloy” Smelt” along with many more spin-off events and feature as the last leg of the Version 1.0, lasting until June 28, 2024, at 5:59 (UTC+8)
After that, Kuro Games will schedule a server downtime and implement the update for Wuthering Waves 1.1, called “Thaw of Eons.”
To compensate for any inconvenience caused by this version timing adjustment, Kuro Games will issue compensation to all Rovers: Radiant Tide ×10
Wuthering Waves 1.1 Banners
With Kuro Games’ announcement of Wuthering Waves 1.1, they teased two upcoming playable resonators:
Jinshi
Jinshi is a magistrate in Jinzhou City with a Resonance connection to Sentinel Jué. Through repeated ages, the Lament has preyed upon mankind’s vulnerable hope. Yet, grasping the nettle, she strives with all her might to forge a path toward tomorrow. Jinshi was introduced in Version 1.0 following the tutorial as part of the Utterance of Marvel questline.
Changli
The counselor of Jinzhou Magistrate and mentor to Jinshi, she excels at leveraging human nature to corner her enemies into traps. She’s persuasive and patient; Changli entertains an unwavering aspiration, holding her ground in the endless game against time and chaos. Changli made a brief appearance in Clashing Blades questline.
New Area
Not much is currently known, but Kuro Games mentioned in their Future Adjustment Directions announcement that a new area called “Mt. Firmament” will be released in Version 1.1.
New Boss
Sentinel of Jinzhou, Jué
Also teased in their Future Adjustment Directions announcement, Jué, who made an early appearance in the Main Quest, has been confirmed to be an upcoming boss in Version 1.1.
Version 1.1 Optimization
Echo Development
The echo leveling experience feels too grindy, and the game lacks a Waveplates storage system. Kuro Games confirmed and will implement the following adjustments while they are working internally on solutions to address other common concerns.
They will launch a limited-time Echo material double yield event “Chord Cleansing” |
Adjust the progression system to reduce the Shell Credit costs of Echo development. |
Yield of Echoes and Echo development materials will be increased. |
Introduce the Waveplates storage system |
Combat and Control Experience
Auto aiming/Auto Lock-on and Camera Performance In Battle | Disabled the “Combat Camera Correction” feature on PC by default. Optimized the default values and ranged for combat camera settings. |
Bosses Existing Combat State Unexpectedly | Adjusted the prerequisites for enemies to leave the combat combat state to reduce abnormal disengagements.
Introduce a “Disengagement Warning” feature. |
Ghost Touch Issues on Mobile | Expanded the anti-ghost touch area around buttons. |
Delayed Availability of Custom Keybinding Feature | Prerequisite to unlock the “Custom Keybinding” feature will be lowered to Union Level 2. |
Controller Mode Experience Optimization | Remap the current controller shortcut of “Open Chat” to “Open Map” and add an option to invert the Y-axis. |
