Apple has announced when its annual WWDC will take place and already there are rumors and possibly wishful thinking about the iOS 19 redesign. That, and the Apple Watch may get cameras, for some reason, all on the AppleInsider Podcast.
While we still have to wait weeks for WWDC and its unveiling of the new iOS 19 and so much more, Apple has at least released a cable for us to enjoy. Okay, its a USB-C to audio jack cable that is for how AirPods Max to provide lossless audio — and yet it’s not enough to make the headphones a good buy again.
Turning to rumors, though, there’s been another round of claims that the Apple Watch will gain cameras. This isn’t like last week’s patent-based rumor of a video conferencing camera, it’s more about environment sensing, but that hasn’t stopped the rumors becoming over-exaggerated.
Just as they have, just as they always are, for the iPhone 17 range although this week we’ve been seeing more evidence of just how thin the expected iPhone 17 Slim will be.

This week, it starts now: get your WWDC wishlist going as Wes and William talk about what they want from Apple’s new OS releases, and how there’s a reason we just talk about this while Apple actually makes it all.
