XGIMI HORIZON Ultra 4K Projector unveiled with Dual Light technology

XGIMI has launched the HORIZON Ultra 4K Projector. The brand claims it is the world’s first 4K long-throw home projector with Dolby Vision. The device uses a hybrid laser-LED light source, delivering 2,300 ISO lumens brightness with an expected lifetime of 25,000 hours. The projector covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with support for HDR10 and HLG.

The HORIZON Ultra has a 1.2-1.5:1 throw ratio with a maximum recommended image size of 200-in (~508 cm). It also has Intelligent Screen Adaption 3.0 (ISA 3.0) with features like lossless 0.8X optical zoom, autofocus and dynamic color adjustment to automatically enhance the image. Plus, smart brightness alterations based on the ambient lighting ensure the picture can be seen in all conditions. The new model also has a game mode with less than 18ms latency alongside MEMC motion smoothing technology. You can connect gadgets via various ports, including HDMI 2.1 and USB 2.0.

The projector has two integrated 12W Harman Kardon speakers compatible with DTS-HD and Dolby Audio. Plus, with Android TV 11, you can stream content from popular apps and wirelessly cast content from a mobile device via Chromecast. The gadget is boxy, measuring 265 x 224 x 170mm (~10.4 x 8.8 x 6.7-in), with a moving fabric panel to cover the lens when not in use.
