Having already launched in China the Xiaomi Pad 5 has been unveiled for the European markets with pricing from €349. An affordable but high-specced offering, the 11-inch Pad 5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 processor and can be had in 6/128GB and 6/256GB variants. Aimed at both productivity and entertainment, the Pad 5 offers split-screen usage as well as compatibility with Xiaomi’s Smart Pen.
With a big 11-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and WQHD+ resolution (2560 x 1600), the Pad 5 comes to Europe in 6/128GB and 6/256GB variants. Quadruple speakers with Dolby Atmos technology take care of the audio for those Zoom calls or Netflix sessions.
The Smart Pen is able to pair with apps the built-in buttons enable you to take custom screenshots take notes, clicker mode, and navigation gestures. With support for magnetic fast charging, the Smart Pen charges to 100% in just 18 minutes.
With a large 8,720mAh battery the Pad 5 sports 22.5W charging which for a tablet is pretty quick. In case you were wondering, there’s a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Available in Cosmic Gray Pearl White, the Xiaomi Pad 5 goes on sale in Europe at €349 ($410) for the 6/128GB version and €399 ($470) for the 6/256GB variant. Starting from September 23rd on AliExpress, the 6/128GB version will go on sale in limited quantities for €299.
