There’s a lot to love about ASUS’ ROG gaming line, but its laptops are especially good, and the Zephyrus line tends to be a standout. The G14, in particular, is really, really good, and it just got refreshed with 2025 specs.

The latest ASUS Zephyrus G14 has just been launched, following an initial announcement during CES 2025. We already know most of the details about this laptop, but in case you can’t recall a lot, it’s yet another refresh to the Zephyrus G14 that brings its internals in line with what’s hot and new this year. At the core of this latest G14 revision is an AMD Ryzen AI 9 270 processor. This is a Zen 4 chip rather than Zen 5, but it’s still pretty good for gaming and basically anything, considering we have eight cores that can go up to 5.2 GHz. This lineup likes using Ryzen chips a lot, so this is a particularly popular option for AMD enthusiasts.

We also have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, which comes with 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. For system memory, this model is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, clocked at 7500MHz. This memory is soldered directly to the motherboard (on board), so sadly, you will not be able to upgrade it after purchase. It’s a bummer, but it’s one of the compromises you make for a “light” and compact gaming PC, which is really the focus here. And it manages to pull that off pretty well. The laptop is 12.26 inches in width, 8.66 inches in depth, and 0.63 inches in height. And as a fun fact, it’s also pretty light, at 3.33 pounds. Not bad.

The laptop includes a USB 4 port that supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort functionality. Additionally, we have one USB 3.2 Gen Type-C port with identical functionality as well as G-Sync passthrough, as well as two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. There’s an HDMI 2.1 as well as a 3.5mm audio combo jack that handles headphone and microphone connections. As far as wireless connectivity goes, the G14 is equipped with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 technology. The system is powered by a 90 Whr battery, and it comes with a 240W AC with a rectangle connector.
