The Anker Soundcore Sleep A20 buds might seem like a strange concept to those who manage to stay asleep for a full eight hours through the night, but for many others who struggle with getting good quality sleep, it’s a concept that makes sense, and it’s not the first time they’re doing this.

These earbuds are just like any other truly wireless earbuds at face value. You can connect them via Bluetooth and blast music and they come with a carrying case that you can use to tote them around and charge them. They’re designed to be comfy and small too, which most people can appreciate. But if all you’re trying to do is listen to music, it’d be strange if you bought these, because you’d be wasting a lot of the sleep-focused tech they come with.

With the Anker Soundcore Sleep A20 earbuds, you get Anker’s twin-seal ear tips, which they claim will block out three times as much noise as the regular ear tips we’re all used to. That means they act just like earplugs, silencing things around you for a much more peaceful sleep. But that’s not where their tranquility ends. The buds themselves have a sound library that you can use to play white noise (which many people swear by when it comes to sleeping peacefully).

In terms of battery life, you get 10 hours off the buds alone on Bluetooth, but that bumps up to 14 hours when you’re using the built-in Sleep Mode. Add the charging case to the broth, and it becomes 80 hours in total. One of my favorite features is that these come with an alarm built into the earbuds, so if you’ve always been worried about waking up others with your 6 AM alarm, this solves that.

You Can Get Yours For Cheap Via Kickstarter, Or At Full Price Later On

If these earbuds sound like the solution to all your problems in the bedroom (related to sleep, of course), then you’re going to need to be patient. They’ll be available first on Kickstarter, but that’s going to be in a month’s time, on April 16th, and there, they’ll sell at just $89.99 for the early backers.

However, if you’re not willing to join the rush, they will eventually find their way to Amazon, but that will be on May 20th, another month and some change later. Plus, they’ll retail at $149.99 there, so if you’re interested, you’ll want to get in early. You snooze, you lose.

In the meantime, Samsung thinks that getting better sleep will require the intervention of AI, but before we get to that point, maybe just use these.
